- Plants are intolerant of drought or strong winds. Plants dislike temperatures below 55 degrees F. and are marginal survivors in USDA Zone 10. In most areas of the continental U. S., this plant should be grown indoors or in a greenhouse.
- Use an all purpose potting soil. Keep soil uniformly moist. Site plants in indirect sun. Plants like high humidity. Plants are intolerant of cool indoor breezes. Plants may be taken outside in the hot summer months for placement in bright shaded areas with indirect sun.
- Cyrtostachys renda, commonly called lipstick palm or sealing wax palm, is a tropical palm that is native to swampy rain forest areas of the Malaysian peninsula, Indonesia and Borneo. It is perhaps best known for its glossy scarlet red crown shafts and leaf stalks which bring stunning accent and contrast to landscapes or indoor areas.
- Common names are in reference to the red coloration. In the wild, this palm will grow to 12-15’ tall. Pinnate leaves to 4-5’ long are deep green above and gray-green underneath. Small greenish white flowers in panicles bloom in summer.

These balls were almost exactly what I needed. I was replacing my boy’s favorite ball, which is the 3” squeaky, spikey ball that fits in the chuck it launcher. Unfortunately I saw the shiny object next to it and because there were SIX balls and a dollar less, I failed to see that these are 3.5” balls instead of 3”…. Great balls but no fitty in the slingy. Buyer beware. No chuck it no problem. Save a buck.

MY CHIHUAHUA LOVES THESE BALLS!!

My little chihuahua, BamBam, is addicted to balls, especially little balls that squeak! However, any balls that have material on them, BamBam will tear them apart, swallow the material and then get an upset tummy! These balls saved the day! BamBam LOVES them & she cannot tear them apart! They hold up so well! No matter how much BamBam plays with them, they keep squeaking away!
