260x Echium Plantagineum Blueweed Dwarf Hybrid Flower Seeds - Annual Bushy Plant
The eye-catching annual flower Echium Plantagineum, also known as Blueweed, Dwarf Hybrid, is valued for its vivid blue blossoms and compact, bushy growth habit. This is perfect for borders, bedding schemes, and landscaping projects because they yield hardy plants that flourish in full light and well-drained, fairly fertile soil. The dwarf hybrid variety attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies to increase garden biodiversity while offering a more manageable size while retaining the striking colour and texture of traditional Blueweed. These plants are simple to raise from seed and produce vibrant, striking displays throughout the summer with long-lasting blooms. Echium Plantagineum Dwarf Hybrid is a low-maintenance, hardy plant that blends utilitarian garden utility with attractive appeal, making it ideal for both formal and cottage-style planting.
Growing Instructions:
In order to successfully cultivate Echium Plantagineum Blueweed Dwarf Hybrid, sow seeds indoors in seed trays filled with bright, well-draining compost between February and April. Because seeds require light to sprout, plant them on the surface and gently push to keep the compost continuously moist. Keep the temperature between 18 and 20°C; germination normally happens in 10 to 14 days. After the last frost in May, move seedlings into separate pots and let them harden off outside after they have two to three genuine leaves. To promote bushy growth, plant in full sun in well-drained soil 25 to 30 cm apart. To promote continual blooming, deadhead spent blooms and water often but avoid waterlogging. Throughout the summer, these annuals offer colourful, pollinator-friendly displays.
