Gorgeous 1930s long black lace gown with a black and pale beige silk lining and a loose tie in front.

It has no closures and instead slips over the head. There are snaps on the cuffs.

+++ Measurements +++

Measurements taken unstretched. There is some give to the fabric.

Laid flat, armpit to armpit: 17.5"

Laid flat, waist: 17"

Laid flat, hip: 20"

Length: 47"

Sleeve length from armpit to cuff: 18"

+++ Condition +++

Condition is very good, especially for a lace piece of this age. There is only one hole in the lace that I could find, which I have shown in the photos. It is on the upper part of the dress on the front, but it is virtually invisible when worn, as it lays on top of another layer of lace.

The upper beige section of the silk lining has a couple of thin places, small holes, and stains that are not visible when worn. Small holes in one armpit. Overall it feels strong enough to wear with care. The beige silk lining at the top is the most delicate.

The lace feels strong, but keep in mind that lace is delicate and subject to catching or snagging on jewelry, etc, so use your discretion.

Used Watch?
Color: Black/Gray/Digital
The watch is great but the watch had been worn. The protective film was removed and it was loose in the watch box and not on the plastic holder. I bought a new watch not a used one. Joe

My last Timex and why.
Color: Black/Gray/Digital, Color: Black/Gray/Digital
New edit. Upon further reflection, I’ve only had, a couple of exploratory years with Swatch excepted, Timex watches. My first one was when my mother replaced the Chicita Banana “tickity tock” sticker with a real Timex wind up watch before my first Cub Scout camp. In addition to many other Timex products, I’ve had these Ironman watches for the past 25+years. Usually the band wears out and can’t be replaced after three or four years. This particular watch fell apart less than six weeks old. It wasn’t hit by impact. It just came apart while I was driving down the road. I wonder if they’ve changed their manufacturing process. See photo for details. What is truly infuriating is that rather than replacing it, because it is truly a warranty issue, the told me to ship it to their offshore repair facility (which could take 3-5 months) and pay what might be half the value of the watch. Things happen, but the intentional friction they have created to avoid their obligations borders on malpractice and speaks to their indifference toward customer experience and subsequent lifetime value.
